Wireless Controls for Potentially Explosive Environments: ATEX/IECEX

BASE Engineering’s ASKW series and ASKF series of transmitters are the perfect wireless controls for explosive environments and have been certified for use in Zone 0 hazardous locations. Zone 0 is an international designation that corresponds to a Class 1 Div 1 location designation that has been in common use in North America. These safety certifications signify that BASE handhelds can be used in explosive, rugged environments, giving you the safest tools for your worksite.

Steve Belyea, President and CEO of BASE Engineering states, “these third party approvals open the door for us to expanded overseas markets in the oil and gas industry”. He adds that “this represents 18 months of hard work including a comprehensive quality assurance audit that adds value for all of our customers.”
